Domaine des Garances: A Legacy of French Winemaking
Nestled in the picturesque village of Suzette, in the heart of Provence’s Dentelles de Montmirail, Domaine des Garances is a story of heritage, passion, and transformation. Passed down through generations since 1640, the estate began as orchards of apricots and cherries, with small olive groves and family vines. Over time, the land evolved into a celebrated vineyard, embodying centuries of family dedication and tradition.
The dream of crafting exceptional wines came to fruition in the early 2000s when Pierre Brès and Sébastien Logvinenko built their own cellar. Pierre, with his deep connection to the land, and Sébastien, with his expertise in viticulture and oenology, combined their skills to bring their vision to life. The first vintage, released in 2002, marked the beginning of a remarkable journey. Each bottle reflects their shared commitment to quality, tradition, and a profound respect for the terroir of Provence.
A Commitment to Organic Excellence
Today, Domaine des Garances spans 16 hectares of hillside vineyards, cultivated with an unwavering commitment to organic farming methods. This sustainable approach preserves the biodiversity of the land while creating wines that are elegant, balanced, and authentic. The unique terroir of Suzette, shaped by the Mediterranean climate and the stony soils of the Dentelles de Montmirail, imparts a distinctive character to each vintage.
